Large solid bronze bell with its original clapper and suspension brackets.
Dated 1750, it features a marquisal coronet. The shield, divided horizontally, displays an animal figure on the right and a checkered pattern adorned with a bird on the left.
These arms likely signify the alliance of two important noble families. This pact may have been symbolized by the casting of this bell for a memorable wedding ceremony in 1750.
The bell is in very good condition, with no cracks, and produces a very pleasant sound.
Weight: approximately 35 kg.
