Important mirror with wooden beads and gilded stucco.
The main mirror is framed by baguettes with Bérain decoration. The mirrors with beveled sides framing the latter are decorated at the corners with spandrels forming palmettes, flowers and wavy foliage.
At the top, the graceful arched pediment is framed by two chimeras. Evolving among gadrooned volutes, two birds face each other. The beads take place in an animated frame decorated with foliage, floral motifs and ending with a large palm leaf.
This large mirror is particularly representative of the Regency. Its classic lower part is one with an eventful, symmetrical pediment with balanced decoration.
Regency period, 18th century. Usual restorations.
