Game table from the Regency period in cedar, a wood renowned for its rot-proof properties.
Resting on four legs ending in deer hooves and linked together by a curved and richly carved spacer.
The generously curved uprights are also perforated, at their base an acanthus leaf crowns the clog. At their damping is present a shell.
We find the Régence shell on the front of the headband of the game table. This belt is also abundantly carved with natural and floral motifs, ovals and is openwork.
This precious piece of furniture is topped with its thick reinforced Belgian royal red marble from the period.
