Cartel "aux Têtes enturbannées" in Boulle marquetry and its console, 140 cm

Very important violin-shaped cartel in Boulle technical marquetry, brown tortoiseshell, finely chiseled natural bronzes and brass inlays. Very rich and abundant decoration.

Large scale for this room: a total height of 140 cm with its console.

The feet are each surmounted by turbaned heads.

Central decoration with allegories, Putti, dolphins and musical attributes.

The cartel is surmounted by a female figure resting on a skillfully chiseled bronze plinth adorned at the four corners with eagle heads.

Below two chimeras facing each other, the dial with enamelled cartridges signed "Martinot à Paris" is engraved with a Rooster.

Richly decorated interior door.

The wall console is perforated and decorated with masks representing Louis XIV as a child.

The mechanism has been completely revised by our watchmaker and works perfectly.
